XMPie uDirect Standard
With the uDirect plug-in, variable-data publishing is as easy as desktop
publishing. Highly creative variable-data projects can be produced on
a single desktop by any InDesign artist; no programming knowledge is required.
Turn any text, character style, image or layer into a data-driven variable
object with a simple double-click. Define additional "if, then"
business rules quickly from drop down selections. Utilize copy fitting
and image fitting to preserve the integrity of the document across all
customer records. Preview records in real-time. For cross-media capabilities,
collaborate with XMPie's PersonalEffect system. Output PDF, VPS, VIPP,
PPML, VDX, PostScript.
XMPie uDirect Professional
A dual-desktop solution, uDirect Professional has all of the capabilities
of uDirect Standard for the designer, plus uPlan,™ an advanced
programming tool for variable-data projects where the data comes from
multiple sources or complex business logic is required.
